Candidates seeking admission to MBBS and BDS courses in Uttar Pradesh must fulfill the following eligibility requirements:

• Candidates must have successfully passed their Class 12 examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as compulsory subjects. General category candidates must secure a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in the qualifying subjects.
• Candidates belonging to the General-PwD category must have obtained at least 45% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology.
• Candidates from reserved categories, including SC, ST, and OBC, must have secured a minimum of 40% aggregate marks in the required subjects.

Domicile Eligibility for Uttar Pradesh State Quota

Candidates who hold a valid Uttar Pradesh domicile are eligible to apply for the 85% state quota seats available in government medical and dental colleges of Uttar Pradesh.

Students claiming domicile-based reservation must fulfill any one of the following conditions:

• The candidate’s father is a permanent resident of Uttar Pradesh and the candidate is a native of the state.
• The candidate’s parent(s) have been residing in Uttar Pradesh for a minimum period of three years or more.
• The candidate’s parent(s) are employees of the Government of India.
• Candidates living outside India are eligible if their direct ancestors or forefathers were permanent residents of Uttar Pradesh.
• Candidates who have completed both Class 10 and Class 12 from Uttar Pradesh are eligible without submitting additional residential proof.
• Candidates who have completed either Class 10 or Class 12 from Uttar Pradesh must provide proof of their parent(s) being residents of Uttar Pradesh or satisfy any of the above-mentioned domicile criteria.

Eligibility for Indian & OCI Candidates

• All eligible Indian passport holders and Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) candidates can apply for MBBS and BDS admission in Uttar Pradesh, subject to applicable admission rules and regulations.

Age Criteria for UP MBBS & BDS Admission

• Candidates must be between 17 and 25 years of age to apply for Uttar Pradesh MBBS and BDS admissions.
• Candidates belonging to reserved categories are provided an age relaxation of 5 years as per government norms.
